Vice President, Business Development

We’re looking for a Vice President, Business Development who is resilient and tenacious, with the keen ability to provide thoughtful sales presentations across all industry verticals. As the Vice President, Business Development you will grow agency revenue by presenting our range of services, focusing on how we will deliver on critical KPIs desired by prospective clients. The ideal candidate will have digital sales experience in marketing services (offline is a plus), as well as, deep rooted and diversified industry contacts.  An entrepreneurial spirit and drive is an absolute must for the person filling this role.


Major Responsibilities:

– Identify and reach potential customers to clearly and concisely present our print & digital marketing solutions and their benefits – gaining exposure to RFP’s across agencies and brands

– Cultivate strong relationships with prospective clients, building a trusted relationship between the agency and those key prospects by understanding their business and marketing challenges

– Be an author and storyteller, bringing NSA Media to life for prospects with compelling new business presentations, media proposals and case studies

– Attend conferences and other industry events to build relationships, give presentations and participate in speaking engagements

– Evaluate market research and adjust new business strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions

– Develop and maintain a prime prospect list which includes quality targets ranging from financial, healthcare, travel and insurance industries to telecommunications, QSR, consumer retail, auto and fitness

– Own the client relationship from initial communication through SOW execution and internal hand off

– Willingness to travel (~25%)

– Ability to operate and succeed as both an individual and as a team



– Passion for all things local media print & digital with at least 5-7 years of relevant experience (i.e. Local, Print, Social, Display, Mobile, Programmatic, Search, etc.), with 4+ years of experience selling marketing services

– Proven sales experience and strong track record with location-based media, working directly with marketers, agencies, digital media and/or technology providers in a business development or sales role

– Bachelor’s Degree preferred
